Job Title: Business Development Representative

Onrise’s unique telehealth solution leverages untapped networks of retired athletes to offer mental health peer support, plus access to therapy, psychiatry and 24/7 crisis services. By utilizing retired athletes and clinicians, we understand the unique challenges and pressures that athletes face and provide athlete-specific mental health care and support that is accessible, relatable and affordable.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR). This role will report to SVP of Sales and provide valuable exposure to various aspects of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to prospects through cold & warm calls, emails and social touches. You’ll also identify and qualify leads with the goal of setting up meetings for the sales team while maintaining a clean pipeline and accurate forecasting. Your goal is to generate new business opportunities, help drive revenue growth and build a successful and fulfilling sales career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients.
- Utilize AI-powered automation tools to streamline outreach via calls, emails, and social media.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (+ for HubSpot experience)
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies, integrating AI-driven personalization and automation.
Requirements:
- Passionate about building a career in sales (+ for a background in athletics).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (+ for playing a sport in college).
- Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Gritty, committed and not afraid of failure.
- Ability to work independently in a self-motivated, results driven role as well as part a valued member of a team.
Details:
- Fully remote, must be in continental United States.
- Full-time position eligible for benefits.
- Compensation: Salary base range $40,000 + commissions.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000 - $70,000
